Dog-Friendly Experiences
Bring your four-legged friends along for an unforgettable day at Poole’s Cavern & Buxton Country Park! We’re proud to be dog-friendly across our whole site, so that your pups can join in on the adventure!
Dog-friendly highlights:
- Cave tours: dogs are welcome on our standard guided tours of Poole’s Cavern, making it a unique experience for you and your pet.
- Café: relax after your tour in our dog-friendly café, where you can purchase a treat for yourself and your pup!
- Buxton Country Park: explore the beautiful woodland trails with your dog, perfect for walks in the fresh Peak District air.
Tips for a great visit
- Leads required: To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, we ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times.
- Water stations: we provide water bowls outside of the Visitor Centre and in the café.
- Please clean up after your dog and use the bins provided to help our staff and volunteers to keep the site clean and green for all visitors!
Additional notes
Whilst dogs are welcome on most tours and in the café, there may be occasions where only service dogs are permitted on certain special event tours, including the ‘Dog-free Tour.’
