Make a Donation
BCA has been looking after unique and inspiring places that really matter since 1967. It is both a privilege and a great responsibility – and it requires significant funds.
Please support BCA in preserving Buxton’s natural and built and heritage by making a donation today.
Your contributions directly fund critical conservation projects, maintain woodland trails, and protect wildlife habitats, ensuring future generations can continue to enjoy these special places around Buxton.

Your donations make a difference
Every donation, big or small, helps us create a lasting impact on Buxton’s environment. Here are some examples of what your support can achieve:
- £10: Provides a bird box for one of our woodlands, supporting small bird species.
- £50: Enables us to plant and maintain five tree saplings, contributing to the sustainability of our woodlands and encouraging biodiversity.
- £100: Funds the installation of an owl box, providing safe homes for birds of prey in our woodlands, like tawny owls.
- £250: Allows us to purchase a wildlife trail camera, helping us monitor and protect the species in our woodlands.
Please note, while these examples show how your donation might be used, we allocate funds to the most urgent conservation needs.
Your donation can go even further with Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can boost your donation to BCA by 25% at no extra cost to you.
By selecting Gift Aid, you confirm that:
- You are a UK taxpayer.
- You understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in a tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
- You are donating your own money and not on behalf of someone else or in return for goods or services.
Regular giving
By setting up a regular donation, you can provide sustained support to BCA’s ongoing projects.
- Help us plan long-term initiatives, from replanting our aging woodlands to enhancing biodiversity in our managed areas.
- Ensure we have the resources to maintain essential infrastructure for public access, providing tools for our dedicated staff and volunteers.
We can’t do this work without you. Your commitment helps us protect and grow Buxton’s woodlands, wildlife, and heritage.
